KVH, well known for their satellite TV products, have launched a new mini VSAT product the V7. The system is supplied as an all in one package including the modem. The airtime is also supplied via KVH.

The technologies deployed allow this to offer up to 2Mbps downlink, up to 512kbps uplink, with a variety of airtime packages available. The radome being only 66cm in diameter allows for far smaller vessels to consider installing V-SAT.

There is no requirement to change the LNB and satellite selection is automatic.
