SES Acquires Greenham Regis Marine Electronics

Ships Electronics Services (SES) has announced its acquisition of Greenham Regis Marine Electronics and has formed a new company, Greenham Regis Ltd which is a 100% subsidiary of Ships Electronic Services. Previous owners Andy Haines and Malcolm Lane join the board of Greenham Regis Ltd along with Stephen Roper and Paul Rees of SES.

New Condor Cross Channel Ferry

Ships Electronic Services (SES) has won the contract to supply and install the communications equipment on the new Condor multihull high speed ferry which will operate between Poole and the Channel Islands. At 102 metres the new ferry will be the largest multihull in the Condor fleet and is scheduled to commence operations from Poole on March 27th 2015.

Another Major Military Contract for SES

Ships Electronic Services (SES), an industry leader in the supply installation and maintenance of maritime electronics, has won a substantial contract from Finmeccanica – Selex ES to supply a comprehensive PA & General Alarm system to each of the four Royal Fleet Auxiliary (RFA) Military Afloat Reach & Sustainability (MARS) tankers currently under construction by Daewoo Shipbuilding in South Korea. The contract, which covers a comprehensive integrated PA system, is part of a wide range of communication equipment ordered from Finmeccanica – Selex ES.

SES fits antennas to the UK’s latest research vessel

Ships Electronic Services (SES) has won the contract to update the Satellite TV antennas for the “RRS James Cook” the well known research vessel operated by the National Oceanography Centre (NOC) based in Southampton. Two KVH HD11 antennas will be installed which will provide HD TV on the Ku band Service.

Raytheon Anschütz Appoints SES Sole Distributor in UK

Ships Electronic Services (SES) the UK’s leading marine electronics supply and service organisation has been appointed sole distributor and service provider for Raytheon Anschütz in the UK, effective from August 2013. Raytheon Anschütz is one of the world’s major manufacturers of Integrated Bridge Systems, Radar, Gyro compasses and other navigational electronics for commercial vessels.
